Caricatures have fascinated Stephen ever since he saw one in a political cartoon as a young boy. Amazed at how a person’s features could be so exaggerated in a caricature yet still keep the resemblance, he began devouring other works for inspiration. Soon he was terrorising his dad with his own versions before moving on to other victims. Steve is a former art director at the South China Morning Post and The Australian. He’s also been a freelance illustrator, cartoonist and designer, and has never stopped drawing caricatures.
